Smoke & CO Inspection Guideline

When you sell your home, you are required to have a smoke and carbon monoxide detector inspection conducted by your local fire department.  Here is a great guideline for you to reference:

After a successful inspection, you will be issued a Certificate of Compliance.  Be sure to bring the original certificate to your attorney or real estate agent as this original certificate will be required for your closing.
